[TUCSON, AZ, April 13, 2026] Earth Day Event

There’s no Planet B, so let’s celebrate the one we have. The Lundgren Consumer Science (LCS) Lab is bringing sustainability to campus with its Earth Day Pop-Up with Purpose event. Located on the first floor of McClelland Park, the event will take place on April 22 from 12:15 to 4:15 p.m.

Featuring vintage clothing from Vintage to Now 520 and TREND, the event highlights sustainable fashion and conscious shopping. In collaboration with Soles4Souls, attendees are encouraged to donate gently used shoes as part of a campus-wide shoe drive. Guests can also enjoy matcha beverages for purchase and participate in painting their own succulent plants (while supplies last).

Whether attendees are looking to refresh their wardrobe, give back to the environment, or simply stop by between classes, the event offers something for everyone. By bringing the campus community together, the LCS Lab aims to inspire small, meaningful actions that extend beyond Earth Day and into everyday life.

About Pop-Ups with Purpose

The LCS Lab hosts Pop-Ups with Purpose events throughout the semester to provide hands-on learning opportunities and foster community engagement. Organized by student interns, these events offer real-world retail experience, promote campus resources, and showcase products from nine student vendors.
