Jaclyn Lichterman
My name is Jaclyn Lichterman and I am thrilled to have this tremendous opportunity to serve as an ambassador on the Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing Student Advisory Board. As this is my first semester on the board, I am looking forward to meeting and networking with the Center’s high-level Corporate Advisory Board partners. It will be an honor as well to work alongside the innovative, bright, and hard working Student Advisory Board members. Representing the Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity; the professionalism and networking skills you learn can create a rewarding outcome, as they help prepare you for a future career in the retailing industry. The entire Retailing and Consumer Sciences program has so many great opportunities that allow students to gain a better understanding of the industry – I plan to take advantage of them all!
This summer I would like to participate in an internship as a buyer, which would help develop my knowledge of how companies operate their merchandise system. Using my organizational skills and positive working ethic I can both learn and contribute as I develop my professional experience. I know this semester will be a successful one and I am eager to get more involved and interact with our Corporate Advisory Board partners.
