I am thrilled to begin my third semester on the Student Advisory Board for the Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing! I will be serving as Vice Chair of the board. This is my last semester in the competitive Retailing and Consumer Sciences major as I will be graduating in May. This unique program has opened up my eyes to the endless opportunities that the exciting retailing industry has to offer.

For nearly two years, I have had the honor to work in the Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing. One of my major responsibilities is assisting in the planning of the Center's annual Global Retailing Conference, an event that brings together retail executives and leaders to share their insight and experience on the evolving industry. It has been a great learning experience to be involved in the many aspects of this event-- from the logistics to marketing, and everything in between! I look forward to my third Global Retailing Conference coming this April; we have some great things in store for this great event!

This summer I was a Retail Sales Intern at Nordstrom in the full line stores. Besides being immersed in a full on sales role with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service, I was able to experience the world of Visual Merchandising and Management. The knowledge and experience I gained through this internship was invaluable.

I am pleased to serve as the liaison for JCPenney and E&J Gallo Winery this semester. I look forward to working with my exceptionally driven peers and representing great corporate partners!
