Lauren Armbruster
My name is Lauren Armbruster and I am the Chair of the Student Advisory Board this semester. I first discovered my passion for retail when I was just a child, and I realized my growing enthusiasm for fashion and design. I love being a RCSC major because it is a unique program, which not only covers fashion and merchandise, but also includes the business and financial aspects of the fast-paced industry.
Last summer I was fortunate to complete an internship with Dillard's Department Stores, and I am honored to work for Gap Inc. in San Francisco as a Retail Management Program trainee upon graduation in May 2009.
Being a member of the Student Advisory Board has given me the opportunity to mature as a leader and a professional, and I am honored to be the liaison for Bridgestone/Firestone and Gap, Inc. this semester. I hope to build a strong relationship with my Corporate Advisory Board partners by successfully creating awareness about their unique opportunities on campus.
