Taylor Flower

With great aspiration for a career in Merchandising following my graduation this coming May, I’m eager to begin my final semester as a Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing ambassador. What interests me about Retailing & Consumer Sciences is that it combines general business concepts with innovativeness and creativity. In particular, my employment with Guess Inc. and my experience in studying RCSC at the University have greatly contributed to my passion for the industry.
After completing my General Business Administration minor abroad this past summer, I have become particularly drawn to global retailing and commerce. Also, this academic year I’m pleased to be interning with Victoria’s Secret as a member of the University of Arizona’s PINK Street Team, which will strengthen the presence and brand power of their collegiate collection on campus.
Serving my fourth and final term on the Student Advisory Board, I’m pleased to be the liaison to Corporate Advisory Board partner, Gap Inc. Having served as Vice Chair for SAB last semester, I look to continue to provide the board with leadership and direction through my role as the head of interview and social committees. I am enthusiastic to be a member of the Student Advisory Board and I look forward to collaborating with such a driven group of students to showcase all of the wonderful opportunities provided by our corporate partners, the RCSC program, and the Lundgren Center.
