Mission
Statement:
Through collaborative efforts with the retail and retail-support
businesses, our mission is to educate and develop students as
leaders of retail and other consumer-oriented businesses, to
conduct cutting-edge scholarly research on important issues
facing the industry, and to deliver outreach activities that
provide economic and social benefits to U.S. and global consumers.

Statement:
The University of Arizona Center for Retailing and Consumer
Sciences Education and Research, through strong partnerships
with business and industry, seeks to create the foremost,
nationally recognized center for the study of retailing
and consumer sciences that provides education, research
and outreach benefiting students, faculty, industry and
